W&W Wishlist: July

Hello you lovely lot!

I am back from a month of training and back to normality. I didn’t post a June Wishlist as I wasn’t really around and I had very little spare time.

Anyways here’s july’s top picks…

Up first this gorgeous lamp from Biggie Best

I was introduced to this store by the wonderful Lizzie (@designers_newbuild). They stock the most wonderful pieces and currently have a sale…. I’ll be adding this lamp to my wish list for updating the living room.

Next up this checked arm chair from Next

It’s from the Ashford range and I love it. Hoping to add this along with a sofa to our living room. I’m planning to have the sofa in a plain dove grey as I don’t want anything too matchy matchy.

I have a little obsession with Zara home and their current sale definitely doesn’t disappoint. Look at this beauty.

Love the frame style and the colour is gorgeous. I’d like to add this to the hallway but considering we just recently put a mirror up I don’t think I’ll be able to convince be my other half that it already needs updating… one can try.

Bit of a different one here but I really really would love a new carpet and this is just gorgeous. It’s Ulter Open Spaces carpet found in John Lewis.

This is the Swedish grey colour and I think it’s just what we need. However it will have to wait for now as there’s so much more we “need” before replacing carpets.

Finally we have good old Marks and Spencer’s. I haven’t purchased anything recently from M&S but stumbled across this beauty online over the weekend.

This would work anywhere in the home full of fresh flowers from the garden.

So there we have it – July’s Wishlist. I still can’t quite believe it July if I’m honest. This year has just flown by. However it does mean it’s only 4 weeks until a very special new arrival….

W&W Wishlist: May

Good morning you lovely lot! I’ve been slacking with the posts recently. I suppose life has just taken over a bit. But this is me saying I’m back in the game and I’m hoping the next months will be full of lots of new posts. So as always here’s my monthly Wishlist…

There’s a bit of a botanical feel for this one. We recently bought out garden furniture ready for the decking to be completed. With that in mind I’m trying to make my indoor and outdoor lounge areas blend to provide a feeling of more space and I always find being outdoors so uplifting that it’s nice to capture that indoors.

So first up we have two pieces from Matalan. Matalan is quickly becoming one of my favourite home stores that does not break the bank and provides gorgeous pieces for the home.

Large Tear Drop Lantern – £20.00

Ceramic Hanging Planter – £6.00

I love natural materials in the outdoors. These will be perfect in my garden but I think they would equally look gorgeous in a reading nook or a bathroom.

Now on to H&M home which each season is just getting better and better. My other half is still saying no to the Dalmatian bedding…. we’ll give him a bit more time.

Small Storage Basket – £8.99

Large Stoneware Planter Pot – £19.99

Sticking with the natural materials over here. I adore the plant pot! If it lived in my garden I would be adding some leafy greenery to it making it a standout feature of my lounging area. Again this could equally be brought indoors to the lounge and add a lovely feature to a corner. Also how cute is the storage basket. I’m a bit (read: a huge) neat freak so I need everything to have a home. I’ll be using this to store all my candles and tea lights I use outdoors when entertaining. Makes tidying quick, easy and pretty!

A firm favourite of mine next. Slay My Print have really hit the botanical and tropical trend on the head. They provide the most gorgeous prints to use throughout your home. I just can’t get enough of their botanical range… then they release this beauty as part of their tropical range! Gorgeous.

3 Pinapples – from £6.00

I mean come on just look at it! I’ll be adding this to my growing collection. Now I just need to find some frames so I can start displaying them in my newly decorated lounge!

Last on my list this week is Candelle & Co. I can’t explain how gorgeous this company is. If you haven’t seen my earlier post – heaven scent – Then go check it out to learn more about this company and their delightful wax melts. This month I am featuring their newly launched room spray. It comes in pink prosecco! I mean I was always going to be a fan…. but the spray really does fill the room with very minimal use.

Pink Prosecco Room Spray – Currently £13.50

W&W Wishlist: April

Hello you lovely lot!

How’s your week going? It’s officially Hump-Day so we can start getting excited about the weekend… right?

Is it just me or has April just come along and slapped us in the face really early this year? 2017… slow down please. On the other hand I am loving the lighter evenings and milder weather. As well as all the beautiful blooms that are around at the moment; blossom I’m talking about you. Anyway here’s my monthly Wishlist of goodies that I just can’t get enough of.

(Lidl £29.99 for the pair) BARGAIN!

As you have problem guessed by now I love geometric shapes and I do love caging details. I was planning on purchasing the wire table with lid from IKEA to go alongside my coffee tables but I think I have found an alternative! Not only is this much more purse friendly but I actually prefer the wood top finish. If I manage to get my hands on a pair I’ll be teaming them up with a table lamp and all the succulents #succulentsanonymous

(Sofa.com £1,540 – the snowdrop)

Ladies and Gentleman please be upstanding for the sofa of dreams. I mean look at it. Traditional shape but that charcoal linen and dark castors just add that modern edge. I’m in love… my bank balance says it is not a viable option. One can dream…

(George Home £28.00)

This botanical inspired dining set is gorgeous. I’ve been searching for a new dining set which isn’t going to break the bank for a while now and I think this is it. I’ve had dining sets from George Home before and have nothing but praise for them they always wash great and have lastest a very long time. They also stock pasta bowls and mugs in this collection too – bonus!

(Wayfair £26.99 on sale)

What a beauty. I’m planning on adding this to my lounge. Now don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of black but i plan on adding some individuality by using a Candidowl lampshade… keep your eyes peeled.

(Gift Pop Boutique from £15.00)

I’m a neat freak so naturally a storage lover. This however is a game changer. Stylish and practical! The straw baskets are so versatile. They can be used in a nursery, in a lounge to hold a plant, linen basket or even a posh loo roll holder! The possibilities are endless. Gift Pop Boutique also offer variations of design so if stars aren’t for you then maybe try the sequin style. I’d be quick though I have a feeling they won’t be in stock for very long.

Well there it is, my April Wishlist. I hope you enjoyed it. I always love to hear from you all; what are you lusting over this month? Leave a comment or send me a message. Don’t forget you can stay up to date with all things W&W over on Instagram @welliesandwonder_

W&W Wishlist: March

Hello Lovelies! I hope your week is off to a great start. I’m needing a lot of caffeine today after a bad night on-call. Anyway here’s my March edition of the new Wishlist feature. I do love writing this post… my bank account on the other hand hates it.

(Source: Made.com – Cora Mirror £129.00)

Yes it is pricey but it is oh so beautiful. I love the gold frame, it really makes it feel classic with a very modern design. I also love the contrast of texture with the addition of the leather strapping. There are a lot of similar mirrors out there with a chain strap but there is something about the addition of texture which makes this my favourite.

(Source: The House Outfit – cup and saucer £15.00)

The House Outfit is a firm favourite of mine. They have some wonderful home accessories which really add a touch of glam to a home without breaking the bank. There are some other designs available so I would mix and match the collection for a laid back, relaxed glamour. I clearly have a thing for gold at the moment…

(Source: H&M Home – Black Vase £8.99)

Sticking with the gold trend… H&M never fail to provide home accessories which are on trend and great value for money. I’ll be pairing this up with a gold tray and my geometric vase from Luke Arthur Wells.

(Source: Candelle & Co. – Wax Melts £12.50 for 5)

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have seen me raving about these wax melts. I will have a full review post soon however I couldn’t not feature the melts in my Wishlist. They smell amazing and last forever! My favourite so far is Orchid Noir – just delicious.

(Source: RosieBowUK Etsy – £13.00)

Perfect for spring the honey bee necklace from Rosie Bow is just perfect. It would make a great Mother’s Day gift too. I recently purchased a necklace from Kate and I could not recommend her enough! She is so helpful, delivery is prompt and the prices are amazing – what’s not to love.

W&W Wishlist: February

Hi everyone! I wanted to add a regular feature to W&W and I’ve decided to compile a monthly wishlist. One of my favourite things to do is browse lovely home accessories from the high street right up to luxury brands. So each month I’ll be displaying my favourite items from some of my favourite brands and those which I’m constantly lusting over but my bank account just says no. As always I love to hear your feedback so please feel free to leave a comment below.

Coffee Guide – The House Outfit – £7.00-£42.00 A5-A1

I love monochrome. I love coffee so this print is a winner. It would make a lovely addition to any kitchen or coffee station.

Hairpin Footstool – Surburban Salon – £325.00 (variety of colours available)

I mean seriously let’s just take a moment to appreciate this beauty. I just wish my other half loved blush as much as I do…

Small Metal Globe – Marks and Spencer’s – £39.50

I can’t wait to add this to my living room. I’m planning to put some floating shelves above the sofa and I think this would look lovely mixed with some pictures and books.

Grey Marble Placemats – House of Fraser – £30.00

I’ve been looking for some special placemats to use with my new dining table and I think I’ve finally found them! I love the sense of luxury that they provide and I think they would look fab against my white table with brass cutlery. They could equally be used as serving platters to add a touch of class to dinner parties.

Opera Sofa – DFS – now £599.00

Finally this is the sofa that I’m hoping to get sooner rather than later as there are some massive savings to be had at the moment. I’ve decided on a classic design as I think it will mix brilliantly with all the modern touches in our home at present. I’m really aiming for a contemporary, eclectic feel and I think this will help achieve that.
